O FELIZ - Metalomecânica, S.A renewed its SME Excellency Status for 2013. This corporate qualification status is an IAPMEI initiative, and is delivered to the companies that had the best economical, financial and management performance during 2013.

The 1100 companies that were awarded the SME Excellency status 2013 were announced on February 6, during a public ceremony that included the Economy Minister and the Innovation, Investment and Competitiveness Secretary of State, and the 1100 companies that received the Status. This is a reputation instrument created by IAPMEI to highlight the small and medium enterprises with high performance profiles.

These companies had the best economical, financial and management performances during 2012, and were able to stay competitive during a demanding economical context, maintaining growth and consolidating results.

Overall, the SME Excellency 2013 are responsible for over 43 thousand direct jobs and generated a turnover of over 5.8 billion Euros in 2012, representing an average growth of 9 %, when comparing to the previous year.

With global net assets of 4.4 billion Euros, the SME Excellency 2013 have an average financial autonomy of 52.6% and profitability levels of equity capital, assets, and sales, of 17%, 9% and 6.9%, respectively.

These companies' input for the exports was of 1.7 billion Euros in 2012, an amount that represented a growth of 27% over the previous year.

The companies had a 31.7% growth on their net profits and their asset increased in 11%.
